# Settings

Group command: `/settings`

**Admins only.** Manage guild admins and the default notify topic for alerts.

## Settings page

The page also shows guild chat id, default notify topic, owner, and admin list.

## Default notify topic

Send one of

| Input                 | Result                |
| :-------------------- | :-------------------- |
| **Topic id (number)** | Use that forum topic  |
| `here`                | Use the current topic |
| `default`             | Inherit guild default |

  **How to get topic ID?**

  Simply click with right mouse button on any message in selected topic and select "Copy Message Link". Link will have following format:

  t.me/c/\<chat\_id>/***<u>\<topic\_id></u>***/\<message\_id><br />OR if you want to use "General" channel topic ID is `1`

Rules can override this with their own **🔔 Notify** setting, or inherit the guild default.

## Admins

| Action            | Who          |
| ----------------- | ------------ |
| **Open settings** | Guild admins |
| **Add admin**     | Guild admins |
| **Remove admin**  | Owner only   |

### Add admin

Send a Telegram user id, or **reply to a message** from the user you want to add.

### Owner

The user who added Echo Tools to the group becomes owner automatically.

## Cancel

Send `-1` to cancel any settings prompt.
